Almost Spring...

Almost beginning of March and all I can think of is Spring. Searching for new flowers ideas for my prints and pattern. Heard that roses will be trendy this season.

New Patterns

Although these patterns were created a couple months ago for Day Runner, now they are finally ready to be published. When it comes to creating prints and patterns, I'm trying different techniques like sketching, drawing or carvings to achieve some interesting textures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Music Inspiration

When I started my blog I thought, "I will post all of my new work and things that inspire me", but as time shows, the posting frequency has been much slower that desired...Well, it will be one of those New Year's resolutions. Keep up the good work and have the work published. For now I've decided to add new chapters about what inspires me and may also inspire you. First, Music.

I've been a long time fan of Brendan Perry and his music and I can't wait for his new album coming out in 2010. The experience of watching and listing him live in NYC with Lisa Gerrard during the Dead Can Dance Reunion Tour in 2005 was unforgettable. Visit his website to learn more about his new album.

New Product

Here are some things DAY RUNNER have coming out for the new calendar year. Some of them are already available in Staples, OfficeMax or OfficeDepot. I especially like the Floral Silhouette product. It was fun designing it but very difficult to make it happen in mass production. All Made in USA.
